SkyTech is excited to work with The Housing Trust. As volunteers with home buyer education, we help potential homebuyers prepare for home ownership by understanding the process of home inspections and the importance and process of home maintenance.
The Housing Trust has worked with northern New Mexicans since 1992. Thousands of clients have found the expertise and solid advice they needed from The Housing Trust over the years. Putting people on the path to home ownership is the foundation of the work The Housing Trust performs every day. Whether it’s down payment assistance, credit counseling or offering advice on reverse mortgages, The Housing Trust has made the dream of owning a home a reality for many.
The Housing Trust is a non-profit community development organization that assists residents of northern New Mexico to gain access to affordable housing. They achieve this through providing technical and financial assistance to low and moderate-income households, as well as building well designed, energy efficient affordable homes.
The Housing Trust has helped more than 1,500 families buy their first home.
The Housing Trust’s award-winning Homebuyer Training courses are offered on a monthly basis at no charge to the general public. These courses, combined with The Housing Trust’s Financial Literacy Class, create a solid foundation for families and individuals who may be daunted by the process of buying a home.
